👇👇👇👇👇 按此購票 活動將以英語舉行 🍺 Port Moody Brewery & Shoreline Walk — Back by Popular Demand! New to the area, or just curious to explore? Come join us in Port Moody! Our Port Moody brewery outing was a great time in January — so much so that we’re bringing it back by popular demand! 🍻 Port Moody is well known for its local craft breweries, particularly the walkable “Brewers Row” along Murray Street. With several breweries clustered close together, it’s a great place to enjoy locally brewed beer, explore the neighbourhood, and meet new people in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Join us for a casual afternoon of local beer, good conversation, and exploring Port Moody. We’ll visit one or more local breweries and have a chance to sample some of the area’s craft beers while getting to know fellow participants. 🌿 And this time, we’re hoping to make it to the Shoreline Trail! When we did this event in January, we had hoped to continue on to the Shoreline Trail after the brewery visit. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, so we had to skip the walk. This time, we’re hoping for better September weather and a chance to finally enjoy the trail together! The Shoreline Trail connects Rocky Point Park and Old Orchard Park along Burrard Inlet. It’s mostly flat, with a mix of paved and gravel sections, and offers lovely waterfront views, fresh air, birdwatching, and plenty of opportunities to chat and connect. Whether you joined us in January or this will be your first time, come along for some local beer, a scenic walk, and good company! Meet at 11:45am at Moody Centre Station (https://maps.app.goo.gl/amXsmNXLgUKsCR4i6) 💰費用:Participant will pay for his/her own drinks and snacks / food (Supported by the Province of British Columbia)

街坊會同你 - 去食好西 の Diner (加拿大人茶餐廳)

👇👇👇👇👇 按此購票 活動將以英語舉行 What is a diner? A diner is a type of restaurant found across the United States and Canada, as well as parts of Western Europe and Australia. Diners offer mostly American cuisine, a casual atmosphere, and, typically, a combination of booths and a long sit-down counter. In Canada, a diner is a casual restaurant, often with a retro-style interior, that serves a range of American-style food, such as hamburgers, eggs, and club sandwiches. The diner that we will try out this time is: Helen’s Grill - https://helensgrill.ca/ Tucked into the heart of Vancouver’s Main Street, Helen’s Grill has been serving locals since 1961—and walking through the door feels like stepping back in time. With its vintage booths, old-school counter, and the warm smell of coffee and bacon in the air, it’s the kind of place where everyone feels welcome. This classic Canadian diner is known for its simple, hearty breakfasts—think eggs cooked your way, crispy hash browns, fluffy pancakes, and buttered toast—served with a big smile and endless coffee refills. It’s a favorite morning stop for longtime Vancouverites, and now, it’s your chance to experience this beloved local gem for yourself. For many Canadians, diners like Helen’s are more than just places to eat—they’re part of the culture. It’s where people gather, catch up, and start their day. Whether you’re craving comfort food or curious about daily life in Vancouver, Helen’s Grill is the perfect introduction. So come hungry, bring your appetite for something new, and enjoy a warm, welcoming breakfast the way locals have for over 60 years. 📅日期:10月25日 (星期六) (October 25, 2025 Saturday) ⏰時間 : 9:30am - 12:00pm 🚩集合地點: Meet at 9:30am outside of Helen’s Grill (4102 Main St, Vancouver) (https://maps.app.goo.gl/CuCqKB6guUeJU4t87) 🚌到達交通: From King Edward Canada Line station, you can take bus #25 or walk 💰費用:Participant will pay for his/her own brunch (Supported by the Province of British Columbia)
