🎃 Halloween Murder Mystery

It’s Halloween morning at The Lucky Dragon, Vancouver’s beloved Hong Kong-style café. Wong Wai-Ming, the owner, has gathered family, friends, employees and business contacts for a special Halloween brunch — and at 11:00 AM, he’s supposed to make an announcement that could change everything.

But just before the big reveal, Wong takes a sip of his usual milk tea… and collapses. 🫖💀

The milk tea was poisoned. The police are on their way. And there’s only one problem: the murderer is still in the room.

Everyone has a secret. Everyone has a motive. And everyone has something to hide. Can you figure out who did it before someone else gets away with murder?

Come ready to lie, bluff, make deals, point fingers and defend yourself — because in this cha chaan teng, you definitely can’t trust everyone sitting around you. 👀

No acting experience required. Just bring your detective skills, a good poker face, and a willingness to accuse your friends. It’s mysterious, mischievous and just spooky enough for Halloween — but definitely not gory.

Maximum 15 players.

Itinerary:

10:30am: Meet at City Square Food Court - outside of Kojima Ramen - everyone will then be assigned a character.

🎭 GAME STRUCTURE

The game has four stages

#1 - Arrival & character preparation — 10:30am – 10:45am

#2 - Murder & Investigation Round 1 — 10:45am – 11:20am

#3 - Evidence & Investigation Round 2 — 11:20am – 11:55am

#4 - Final evidence, accusations & reveal — 11:55am – 12:30pm

After the game, if you are interested in joining us, we can eat at the City Square Food Court (suggestions include Kojima Ramen and I-Cafe Express) (at your own expense).
