🌿【街坊會5月遠足活動】一起開啟 Vancouver Summer Mode ☀️

溫哥華嘅5月天氣啱啱好唔凍唔熱,最適合一家大細出嚟行山吸下新鮮空氣~係時候開始summer life嘅季節🌞

今次街坊會帶大家去一條超適合新手+親子嘅森林瀑布路線🌲💧輕鬆行、靚景多、仲可以野餐chill住過一日!Gold Creek Lower Falls係又闊又平嘅山路。兩邊係鋪滿青苔嘅森林,腳步放慢連呼吸都變得輕咗。我哋會喺Gold Creek 瀑布附近停一停,食個簡單午餐坐低影相打卡。或者享受流水聲感受下初夏。有時遠足唔係為咗挑戰,而係為咗同一班人一齊行一段舒服嘅路。

a. 簡介及路線:

Gold Creek Lower Falls 行山路線好適合行山季節。

由停車場出發,向住步道方向行,沿住一條又闊又平緩嘅山路慢慢上斜。一路行,你會見到森林地面鋪滿厚厚嘅青苔,典型嘅西岸雨林景色。

大約行咗 15 分鐘之後,你會喺左手邊見到 Gold Creek 嘅一角。繼續沿住條路行,直到去到一個開揚位,可以望到 Alouette、Edge 同 Blanchard 三座山。

開始再上斜嘅時候,你會愈行愈聽到 Gold Creek 瀑布嘅水聲。由上面望落去,瀑布景色非常靚。欣賞完瀑布景色同水霧之後,可以繼續沿住步道行上去,去到瀑布頂部嘅另一個觀景點。

我哋會留喺瀑布嗰度食晏晝,所以記得帶啲嘢去食 (嗰度冇得買嘢食),食完之後自己攞返晒啲垃圾走。

食完晏睇完上面嘅觀景點之後,就原路落山,經過瀑布,返回停車場。

⏏️中途退出點: 我們是沿路回程,所以可隨時回程。若中途退出就不會到達所有景點。

🚗 點樣去 Golden Ears Gold Creek Parking Lot:由溫哥華出發,沿 1 號公路(Highway #1)向東行,喺過 Port Mann Bridge 之前,於 44 號出口 出,向 Pitt Meadows / Maple Ridge行。穿過交通燈後直行,繼續沿住 Mary Hill Bypass 行,之後右轉入 Lougheed Highway,過 Pitt River Bridge,前往 Maple Ridge。到達 Lougheed Highway 同 Dewdney Trunk Road 嘅大型路口時,左轉並一直行到 232nd Street。喺 232nd Street 左轉,再行大約一公里多啲,留意右手邊有一個細小嘅公園。過咗個公園之後,右轉入 Fern Avenue。沿住 Fern Avenue 繼續行,慢慢會見到屋企愈來愈少,樹木開始出現,呢個時候你已經進入 Golden Ears 省立公園。繼續沿路行,經過通往 Alouette Lake 嘅分岔路口,直到最入面嘅停車場。我哋會喺 最後一個停車場 集合 - Gold Creek Parking Lot。行山徑入口就喺停車場旁邊。你亦可以去呢到查看前往 Gold Creek 瀑布 嘅駕車路線地圖。

c. 費用:

👫🏻 會員 - 免費及可以幫一名非會員免費報名 (亦即係會員可以免費報名兩個人包括會員本人)

👥 非會員 - 每位 $5 (支持街坊會運作。退票需要喺5月7號下午四點前,同時街坊會亦會收取$2手續及行政費用。)

d. 注意事項/ 事前準備

  • 足夠飲用水 約 2-2.5L
  • 一些簡便小食及晏晝 (如Energy Bar 等)
  • 自備袋食完小食及晏晝後帶走啲垃圾
  • 防曬用品(包括帽,太陽油),蚊怕水,個人藥物等
  • 公園內可能有野生動物例如郊狼(coyote)等出沒。如果帶同小朋友或小狗,請注意不要讓他們走開。
  • 如果落雨,請穿防雨(水)衣服和鞋。
  • 注意山上比較涼,最好用洋蔥式穿法 (layering) 。
  • 山路比較多泥濘及濕滑,如沒有行山經驗,可預備手杖。
