a. 簡介:

溫哥華嘅冬天雨就落得多，但落雪嘅日子就寥寥可數。好彩我哋卑詩省人傑地靈，如果要賞雪，離開市區不遠嘅北溫同西溫就已經有海拔夠高足以持續降雪嘅山區。就咁賞雪可能會單調咗少少，如果雪地森林漫步又會唔會吸引啲呢？

街坊會二月份將會喺 Mount Seymour 舉辦雪鞋漫步活動 (Snowshoeing)。大家有機會了解多啲加拿大雪鞋漫步嘅歷史，並著上雪鞋穿梭於白雪皚皚嘅森林之中。沿路賞雪、認識林木中嘅動植物之餘，我哋仲會喺雪地整楓糖糖果，真正享受加拿大嘅冬天之美。

b. 集合詳情及交通:

⏰集合日期及時間: 2月23號星期日 9:00am (請準時，因為10:00am至12:00pm係snowshoe tour時間，逾時不候，事前要簽waiver、着snowshoes及講解安全說明等等)

🚆到達交通: Mount Seymour 有 shuttle bus 由 Rupert Skytrain Station or Parkgate 上車。

由 Rupert Skytrain station 上車嘅朋友，請最遲撘8:00am巴士。

由 Parkgate 上車嘅朋友，請最遲撘8:30am巴士。

c. 費用 (已包租snowshoes & tour guide & tax，但係⚠️唔包 shuttle bus飛):

👫🏻 會員 - 每位$35（可額外用$35替一名非會員報名）

👥 非會員 - 每位 $40

**「溫哥華街坊會」係一個非牟利組織，我哋一班義工旨在連結大溫地區以至卑詩省的新舊香港移民，共組更團結互助的港人移民社群，參加會員可以去呢個綱址：https://vankaifong.com/membership/

所有參加者必須事前填妥Mount Seymour 嘅waiver。

c. 注意事項/ 事前準備

i. 足夠飲用水約1.5L

ii. 一些簡便小食 (如Energy Bar 等) (自備袋食完小食後帶走啲垃圾)

iii. 防曬霜，潤唇膏，個人藥物…

iv. 你必須全程穿著snowshoes

v. Layering。 穿著非棉質（例如羊毛 Wool、fleece)，搭配防水外套和褲。還有手套、帽、非棉質襪和防水的冬季或登山靴 (https://happiestoutdoors.ca/what-to-wear-winter-hiking/)

vi. 門票銷售將於2月8日（星期六）晚上8時結束。

vii. 退票需要喺2月7日（星期五）下午4時前，同時街坊會亦會收取20%手續及行政費用。

viii. 我哋行完可以一齊喺 Mt. Seymour 嘅 Cafeteria食嘢（自費）

⚠️ WAIVER: You, the reader, acknowledge that participation in a snowshoeing activity carries with it inherent risks including, but not limited to, the risk of injury. And you, the reader, freely accept and fully assume all such risk(s). It is the responsibility of each participant of a trip to familiarize themselves with the risks of snowshoeing and other such related activities, to weigh those risks against the advantages, and to decide whether or not to participate. Vancouver Kaifong (Neighbourhood) Association executive, organizers, and members cannot and will not assume liability in respect of any of these risks, dangers, hazards and liabilities. Participants further acknowledge that it is their responsibility to ensure that they carry adequate medical, extended health, dental and accident insurance coverage, as well as protection for personal possessions. It is the participants individual responsibility to verify that they are in good health and are physically capable of carrying out the snowshoeing activity or any activity organized by Vancouver Kaifong (Neighbourhood) Association. Therefore, in consideration of being allowed to participate, individuals release Vancouver Kaifong (Neighbourhood) Association, and its organizers, executive, webmasters, email senders and members from all liability in respect of any personal injury suffered, any damage or loss of personal property, which my arise out of participation in a snowshoeing activity.
