Jack Poon可不是列治文的新移民。在此生活廿年，他心中的願望是能為香港移民開拓一個可以分享大家共同語言，即係「食嘢」的空間。 2020年，「港點煮852 Kitchen」在溫哥華開業，然後在加拿大國慶日（也是七月一日），在列治文開設分店。而852正正是香港的國際電話區號。 訪問當日，職員忙於在「幫緊你幫緊你」的紅色小巴車頭路線牌前，向客人派出原本在農曆新年才會有的笑口棗。 「食物係最好嘅方法，可以令充滿分歧的香港人可以坐低一齊，開開心心傾下偈，食個飯……」Jack說到熱淚盈眶：「至少大家食飯時唔好再拗。」 以食物去團結離散者，「我哋都可以借飲食文化去宣傳香港！」Jack道。「呢間鋪係我畀香港人嘅禮物。我希望喺列治文嘅人都會鍾意香港，更會認識到真正嘅香港係乜。」 走一條新的路 《國安法》生效後移民潮再現，港式茶餐廳亦在列治文再次冒起。Jack坦言無謂重覆，嘗試走新的方向，售賣急凍點心、預煮港式飯餸，以至小顧客Gerald Tat最愛的菠蘿包、叉燒包都有。 Gerald今日是跟媽媽過來參加Michael Hui的自家製港式奶茶工作坊。Jack專誠在開張當日邀請售賣日本抹茶及綠茶的Michael，來幫忙介紹港式奶茶的做法。 「以前喺office，我會用三個Lipton茶包來煲奶茶，但Michael的配方的確可以沖出同茶餐廳一樣嘅奶茶。」新移民Dick Cheung帶住家人，一同來分享他對奶茶的鍾愛。 Michael純熟地以泡茶日久，猶如黑絲襪的布袋沖茶。他選用的茶葉是由香港茶餐廳的水吧師傅調配，同樣幼滑順口，再倒入茶餐廳同款的銻茶壺，沖入厚身黑白淡奶杯中。「呢個茶壺係有特別設計的，點解個煲蓋要反轉來用？」全場呆住，「因為個蓋邊太『利』，日日用會鎅到個茶袋，好快就爛。」

小編前排去咗間幾特別嘅餐廳，特別嘅唔係食物或裝潢，而係佢係一間教學嘅餐廳，講緊嘅係Vancouver Community College嘅 JJ’s Restaurant。 小編前排去咗間幾特別嘅餐廳，特別嘅唔係食物或裝潢，而係佢係一間教學嘅餐廳，講緊嘅係Vancouver Community College嘅 JJ’s Restaurant。 每星期二、三及四晚上6:30都有fine dining setting嘅 Chef’s Table，食物嘅預備、煮調、擺盤、服務全都是學員「一腳踢」合力完成，導師在場指導。唔好以為佢哋係學員就「揸流攤」，食品同服務都有板有眼，當然，同真正嘅fine dining experience係有段距離，但以學生水平來講，所有嘢都合格有餘。 $55有五道菜，菜式係餐廳自己設計（即係西式嘅Omakase啦），每次都不盡相同，而每道菜都非常精緻，可以睇得出佢哋都幾花心思去設計。 今晚第一道菜係粉狀嘅Foie Gras配peach puree，食起來口感很特別嘅鵝肝，起碼我真係未試過這樣子的鵝肝。 第二道菜係將煙三文魚用很薄嘅帶子捲住，配上羅勒醬汁，很醒神嘅一道前菜。
